The Cyanide Code was developed for gold mining operations to addresses production, transport, storage, and use of cyanide and the decommissioning of cyanide facilities. Using the nine principles of the Code, this session provides the pathway for “cradle-to-grave” use of cyanide in gold mining with practical experiences and stories from an approved ICMI (International Cyanide Management Institute) auditor.
