Psychological health and safety is a growing concern in workplaces around the world. Both employers and employees recognize the benefit of a psychologically healthy workplace yet the issues persist. This presentation will focus on current indicators of a psychologically healthy workplace and challenges associated with the measurement of psychological health in the workplace. This will include an exploration of the role of health and safety officers in evaluation and assessment as well as a discussion on the potential role of industrial hygienists and technical experts.
